Paris hotel with Eiffel Tower view
I found a hidden gem – Hotel Gustave in the 15th arrondissement (15th district). Our top pick for a boutique hotel in Paris near the Eiffel Tower. This hotel in Paris is now one of my favorite places to stay and experience the local culture.

When we arrived at Hotel Gustave, we loved the old-fashioned 19th-century look of the building. It had a cream-colored outside, pretty iron railings, and oversized windows. Stepping inside felt like entering the apartment of a stylish Parisian friend.
The lobby lounge area featured plush vintage velvet sofas, antique accents, and shelves lined with art books. Yet there were also modern touches like sleek lighting and contemporary artwork that gave it a fresh, eclectic vibe.
With only 27 rooms, Hotel Gustave has an intimate ambiance. The attentive staff made us feel like a welcome guest in their stylish Parisian home. Our room, though compact like most Paris hotels, was incredibly inviting and well-appointed. The cozy window nook with red patterned cushions provided the perfect little reading nook overlooking the quiet street below.
While Hotel Gustave’s interior was charming, we also loved its location in the 15th district. Hotel Gustave’s side street is a quiet street with classic Parisian apartment buildings and sidewalk cafes. If you are planning to pack light and do laundry while visiting Paris, the laundromat is walking distance.
Discovered Popular local spots near Paris Hotel Gustave

Despite being in a mostly residential area, Hotel Gustave could not be better situated for sightseeing. The iconic Eiffel Tower is a 15-minute walk away. The popular local hangout spots include the Rue de Commerce street lined with cafes, bakeries, shops, and beautiful gardens. Some favorite cozy local places for hearty dishes like coq au vin were Bistro de Maxime and Mon Petit Grigri.
The 15th neighborhood is special because it feels like the real Paris where locals live. As we walked around, we saw sights that showed this is where Parisians go about their daily lives. In the area are family-owned bakeries, lively sidewalk cafes, wine shops, and parks with kids playing.
